Feet in the Sand
If you have young children in your family, you’re going to want your waterfront property to have a beach! Kids love to play in the sand! What could be better than unlimited sandcastles right in your own backyard? A sandy beach also makes it easier to enter the water. The sand itself provides a spot for feet to grip, while the gentle slope allows your family and guests to enter the water at their own speed.
A Room with a View
One of the best parts of waterfront living is that gorgeous view. Whether you’re on a lake, a river, the ocean, or the bay you will want to make sure the lot you choose for your home will give you the best view possible. Sunrises and sunsets are especially great times to have that waterfront view!
Level Lot
A big consideration for choosing your new home’s location is the slope of the lot. If you’re considering a property that is on a hill or has a bunch of dips and divots, that may not be the best place for your new home as the land will need to be graded to provide a level building space.
