Once your custom home on the waterfront is built, it’s all ready to move in. but you have to take a long look around the edges of your property as well. An outdoor shower setup might be great for washing up after coming off the beach collecting seashells or going tubing on the river. But that doesn’t mean you should skimp on the bathroom inside the home, either.
Change the Showerhead
The showerhead is such a common component of the bathroom that it is easy to overlook. One way to upgrade the bathroom is to change how you shower. A fixed-head model isn’t always the easiest thing to use, especially if you want to get as clean as possible. Turning your master bathroom into a spa has never been this easy. A rain shower will make a world of difference, as will various handheld models that allow you to reach those spots that a fixed model wouldn’t. Experiment with adding a skylight to help the shower feel bigger than it is. If you’re ready for it, don’t attempt it on your own.
Open Up the Shower
Opening up the shower sounds good in theory, but it is often beyond the skills of many homeowners, whether or not their custom home is on the water. Instead of relying on a glass door that can be covered in mold and mildew, dispense with the door altogether. Even if you can’t walk into your tub, you can walk into the shower instead. It’s much easier, and there’s less mess and maintenance that you will have to deal with as well.
Add a Breathtaking View
Finally, take a few moments to appreciate what you can see out of your bathroom window. Wouldn’t be wonderful to see more than what you can right now? Adding a soaking tub can make enjoying your gorgeous view even more relaxing. Unwind after the outdoor activities, whether it’s barbecuing, hiking, hunting, or fishing, have worn you out.
