Father’s day 2020 is this coming Sunday. With social distancing measures still in place in an effort to keep everyone safe, your celebration will likely look quite a bit different from previous years. If you need some ideas for a fun and safe father’s day, here is some inspiration!
Homemade Brunch
For most families, going for brunch at your favorite restaurant is the perfect way to celebrate any holiday or special event. This year, instead of going to a restaurant, make dad a brunch fit for a king right there at home! Bacon, eggs, toast, tea or coffee, and maybe even some mimosas make a great brunch!
Family Game Night
What better way to celebrate Dad than by spending some quality time as a family? Gather all of your card games and board games together and make a fun family game night. You can also work as a team on a jigsaw puzzle, or have an epic charades battle! Let Dad choose his favorite!
Beer Tasting
You may not be able to spend an evening at your favorite local bar, but you can still enjoy some beer! Go to the liquor store and choose a few different beers. Most places have a build your own 6-pack selection. Pick out a few beers that Dad doesn’t normally get and make a DIY beer tasting.
Movie Night
Another way a lot of families like to celebrate is with a trip to the movie theater. Since that’s not really possible right now, you can make a fun movie night at home. If you want to add an extra special element, have your movie night outside! Spread out your picnic blankets and a few pillows, pop some popcorn, and cue up Dad’s favorite family movie on the projector!
